Pay Grade 38 Salary DOE&Q Full Time Coordinate and perform technical work involved in a research facility, including all phases of daily agricultural/research operations and animal care; participate in the planning and feasibility assessment of research projects and protocols; ensure quality of research by coordinating research trials and assigning appropriate personnel; keep various records related to research, equipment, supplies, etc.; develop new and/or revised methods and apply them to agricultural and research operations; operate general-purpose and research equipment (including feed mill equipment); purchase materials and supplies; address and resolve unplanned repair, electrical, plumbing and other operational issues (at varying indoor and outdoor conditions); and other duties as assigned by Center Director.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant agricultural science or related discipline plus two-three years of experience or equivalent education and experience. Supervisory experience preferred. A valid TN driver's license is required.
