The General Manager position oversees a Life Science/Office campus in South San Francisco. In addition to the existing assets, there is a development in progress, which will provide an exciting opportunity for this role to participate in a ground up build, lease up and operational transition.
Responsibilities include: Property management, support for leasing and tenant improvement construction, coordination with new construction and due diligence activities as necessary for the San Francisco region and beyond as needs and growth dictate. The individual will be a self-directed and motivated individual capable of oversight of the onsite team and outside vendor relationships, resolving complex issues in a timely manner while prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously.

The Candidate will have the following minimum experience: •A minimum of 6 - 8 years of experience at the Property Manager level with proven success in the asset/property management industry. •2 years of direct experience with operations, design and construction of R&D laboratory and/or technical facilities is preferred. •A BA/BS degree is required and a concentration in business administration or real estate related field preferred. •California DRE Sales License is required and certification as a Real Property Administrator (RPA) and/or Certified Property Manager (CPM) preferred. •Proficient in MS Office and strong financial experience for budgeting, defining CAM pools and annual CAM estimates and reconciliations; Commercial leasing experience is a plus. •Direct practical experience setting up new operations and managing sophisticated facilities and construction project management experience. •Working knowledge of all building systems including but not limited to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and vertical transportation. •Good understanding of security and life safety systems and protocols, including local building and fire codes.
