The Maintenance Repair Worker 3 is responsible for the overall maintenance of the Fawcett Event Center.
Performs skilled and semi-skilled preventative maintenance and maintains/repairs various building equipment and systems to include: housekeeping equipment, kitchen equipment, fixed furniture, electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems and equipment. Operates HVAC equipment.
Maintains and repairs heating and cooling systems and related equipment such as heat exchangers, chillers, valves, compressors, air handlers, and all other related equipment.
Maintains water and sewage lines, repairs and installs plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and kitchen equipment. Maintains, repairs, and replaces all doors, windows, walls, floors, furniture, locks and associated fixtures.
Monitors inventory and orders parts and supplies. Maintains workshop, cleans and maintains tools and equipment.
Performs light custodial duties including mopping and sweeping floors, washing walls and windows. Assists with snow removal. May perform light grounds keeping duties. Assists in general building upkeep maintenance and cleaning. Performs other related duties as assigned
Maintains preventative maintenance, work order, and repair records.
May assist in the overall maintenance of other Business Advancement facilities (including the Drake Performance Center and Blackwell Hotel).
Position may be scheduled some nights and weekends based on event schedule and/or project work. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Subject to emergency call in 24 hours a day/7 days a week.

7th grade education or higher;
300 hours training in operation of hand power and non-power tools and related safety practices (or three months of experience);
300 hours training (or three months of experience) in two of the following: basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry or welding;
Three months of experience (or equivalent training) utilizing related safety practices.
Valid driver's license.
Target Salary: $12.47 - $15.00 Hourly
