The HVAC Controls Technician monitors and assesses the operation of HVAC and other systems by way of a campus-wide Energy Management and Control System (EMCS) on a daily basis to assure safe, proper & efficient operation. Employees assigned to this position will install, service, repair, calibrate and perform routine maintenance on pneumatic, electric, electronic and direct digital control (DDC) systems for heating, cooling, refrigeration and metering equipment.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Mechanics II gas license
Electrician Low Voltage 6A License – HVAC/Refrigeration System
Five years experience (appropriate trade school education or course work may substitute).
Valid driver's license; proven driving ability with good driving record.
