BHC Alhambra Hospital is a 103 bed facility established in 1924. BHC Alhambra Hospital is a private, fully accredited, full-service acute psychiatric hospital serving children, adolescents and adults. BHC Alhambra Hospital is dedicated to providing quality behavioral health, substance abuse, and eating disorder treatment options for the communities of the San Gabriel Valley, Los Angeles County, and surrounding areas. BHC Alhambra Hospital does not provide emergency services.

The PLANT OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN is responsible for daily janitorial/maintenance duties such as cleaning patient rooms, offices, and public areas, while ensuring a safe and risk preventive environment within OSHA regulations. This position also monitors the facility grounds, responds to all emergency situations as needed or requested and performs light maintenance as directed from the Director of Plant Operations.
Key Responsibilities include:
Perform routine cleaning tasks of patient's room, office and public areas as assigned by supervisor.
2. Light maintenance including minor plumbing repairs, lock repairs, drywall patching and preventative maintenance as assigned by Director of Plant Operations.
Comply with established measures for infection control, OSHA regulations and Safety/Risk Management plans, policies and procedures.
Keeps cleaning supplies and equipment safely stored when not in use and away from patient access when in use.
