JOB SUMMARY: Exhibit a strong, self motivated work ethic. Possess the effectiveness to lead and supervise the daily performance of engineering staff. Perform Preventive Maintenance and urgent, corrective and routine repairs in electrical and plumbing systems. Assist Operations Manager in matters of performance reviews and discipline. Supervisor shall assist the Operations Manager in maintaining an effective organization, administering monetary controls, safety and effective management, planning, training, and personnel in their general and specific duties.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: High School, GED, Journeyman License or equivalent certification required
Work Experience: Four plus year's hospital or related work experience preferred, familiar with hospital operations, Joint Commission, Regulatory Requirements.
Management Experience: Two years experiences of supervisory level in plant operations and maintenance.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact) Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking) Writing /Composing Correspondence/Reports
Other Skills: Analytical, Mathematics, Typing, P.C., MS Word, MS Excel, CMMS Access
Advanced Education: Advance Training/Specialty: HVAC, Electrical, Stationary Engineering, or other mechanical certification.
