Function of Position: Responsible to the Trades Manager for performing various technical support activities.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repairs to boilers and chillers, as well as daily operational logs.
Perform maintenance and repairs to HVAC and refrigeration systems.
Maintain, repair, and install food service equipment.
Use Building Automation System for troubleshooting and operation of HVAC and electrical equipment.
Perform routine plumbing service and installation as needed.
Perform routine electrical service and installation as needed.
Assist other personnel as required for the purpose of maintaining safe, effective, and efficient work environment.
Be part of an on-call rotation schedule to respond to emergency situations occurring on nights or weekends.
Assist with snow & ice removal as needed.
Must have one to three years of applied trades training in HVAC R activities or three to five years of effective experience.
First Class Engineers license for boiler operations and EPA Refrigeration certification preferred or willingness to acquire.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Ability to use/climb a ladder, lift, push and pull up to 100 pounds.
