The QA/QC Inspector will perform on-site inspections for our outsourced agreements, which include maintenance, landscape, custodial, and dining services. This position will review contracted vendorâ™s inspections, as well as perform independent inspections.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelorâ™s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Four years of related experience in facilities, building maintenance, or facilities construction scheduling and inventory.
Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to use word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to comprehend and apply rules and regulations.
Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
Excellent customer service, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Other Requirements or Other Factors:
Position may require moderate lifting and going into small, confined spaces.
Position may also involve climbing, bending, reaching, etc.
Position may also involve accessing roofs and other structures that may require climbing to heights above grade.
Experience with higher education facilities and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Preferred Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of contract management, construction management, facility assessment, and work management software.
Well-versed in building systems (M/E/P).
Inspections: Develop, continuously improve, and perform inspection/quality assurance process for outsourced services contracts including, but not limited to, maintenance, landscape, custodial and dining services. This may require going into small, confined spaces. This may require moderate lifting and may involve climbing, bending, reaching, etc. This may also involve accessing roofs and other structures that may require climbing to heights above grade.
Project Management: Assist with project management/oversight in conjunction with Executive Director and Assistant Directors
Reports and Analytics: Develop reports of inspections and findings to help facilitate a plan-of-action with management. Produce ad hoc reports upon request.
Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
