The Controls Technician perform a variety of skilled and semi skilled duties to perform installation, programming, inspection, testing, and repair of pneumatic, electric, electronic, and digital control equipment related to air conditioning, fume hoods, exhaust systems, chilled and hot water systems, and other HVAC building controls. The Controls Technician should have or acquire the ability to troubleshoot and effect minor repairs on refrigeration systems.
The Controls Technician position includes the efficient operation of HVAC controls and campus energy management system (EMS) to meet both comfort and conservation requirements.
