Under direction, incumbent supervises and coordinates the work of the Building Automation Controls Technicians and HVAC Mechanics. The incumbent makes hiring selections, ensure that new and existing staff receives proper training, assign schedule and direct technicians in the installation, repairing and programming of campus energy management systems and associated equipment. Performs all administrative duties necessary to manage department workload and assignments, maintain appropriate recordkeeping of materials and submit timecards for accurate labor charges. Evaluates employee performance and determines standards for performance.
