The Building Systems Technician monitors, analyzes, adjusts and repairs university computerized energy management systems as part of the Utilities Maintenance department.
Required Qualifications: Valid State of Oregon drivers license. At least four years HVAC/DDC experience with building control systems performing modification, adaptation, construction and design work of an intricate nature OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. At least four years experience with steam generation, chilled water, building ventilating, pneumatic computerized maintenance programs, and oversight of digital control systems. Must have strong computer skills and a familiarization with MS Office applications and internet browsers. Valid State of Oregon drivers license. Some positions may require a valid State of Oregon Restricted Energy Technician license or a higher level license.
Preferred Qualifications: Formal training Siemens building automation. Experience with Siemens building automation in a healthcare environment. State of Oregon restricted energy electrician license. Factory training certification for Siemens.
