The Multi-Family Property Manager is responsible for the performance of a portfolio of communities including achievement of financial goals, and ownership objectives through daily oversight of operational, financial, and staffing requirements. This includes but is not limited to physical appearance and maintenance upkeep, financial health and stability, program and government compliance, and client relations. 3 years of Property Management experience is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES in the MANAGEMENT of SMALL COMMUNITY RENTAL PROPERTIES (properties without onsite staff) include but are not limited to the following:
Manages leasing activity to ensure budgeted goals are achieved
Generates property wide communication to residents to inform and update them on issues and/or their community.
Oversees the administrative functions such as rent collection, lease renewal management, payable functions and file management
Handles paperwork and administrative issues to ensure property remains in compliance with city, state, and federal laws
Performs monthly site inspections; inspecting common areas, amenities, and vacant apartments to ensure cleanliness and professional appearance
Performs move in and out inspections and generates related reports
Directs and coordinates activities of maintenance staff engaged in preparing units for new residents, repairing plumbing or electrical malfunctions, painting apartments or buildings, and performing landscaping or gardening work

Pass Microsoft 2010 Word Testing with a 80% or higher score.
Pass Microsoft 2010 Excel Testing with an 80% or higher score.
Pass Microsoft 2010 Outlook Testing with an 80% or higher score.
Type with accuracy and speed 50+ wpm
Demonstrable knowledge of property management principles
Experience in decision making and overseeing day-to-day property operations
Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks while working in a fast paced environment
Team player adept at coordinating, monitoring and inspiring others to meet goals
Experience in with budget development
Strong analytical skills and excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Working knowledge of Appfolio is preferred
3 years’ or more of Property Management experience
