The Building Services Manager at the Children’s Center is responsible for the day to day maintenance of our operations. This position provides oversight to custodial and maintenance staff for all facility support systems and ensures the highest standard of safety, repair and cleanliness in maintaining physical property and the site. This position will implement and maintain a preventative maintenance plan as well as assist in facility planning, renovation, and support contracts and contracted vendors.
7-10 years’ experience in maintenance roles
Preferred 1-2 years’ experience training junior or peer staff
Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, carpentry, and other maintenance-related areas. Certification or Degree preferred.
Strong work ethic, with service oriented style and good communication skills
Familiarity with computers helpful, preferred experience with computer based maintenance tracking programs
