Saint Francis University invites applications for a full time position of Project Manager in the department of Physical Plant. The Project Manager is directly responsible to the Director of Physical Plant for the successful delivery of construction and renovation projects. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to planning, organizing, monitoring and controlling projects to achieve project objectives.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management required. One to five years of practical experience in architecture, engineering, and/or construction management, including demonstrated expertise in the following areas: planning, design, costing, project controls, construction management and contract administration. Project management experience including working effectively with client, contractors and multi-disciplinary teams preferred. Demonstrated working knowledge of Building Codes, ADA regulations, and code enforcement inspections. Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, fire and life safety requirements. Ensure compliance with code requirements. Experience in programming, planning, schematic design and early phases of capital project delivery.
