The Biocontainment Facility Engineer is responsible for: providing hands-on coordination and implementation of daily facility maintenance operations at the Global Health Research Complex (GHRC); overseeing complex facilities maintenance and operations; and developing and maintaining superior predictive, preventive, and responsive maintenance programs for critical biocontainment systems and facility infrastructure.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field. Five years full time experience with responsibilities in facilities operation, facilities management or facilities project management, to include prior experience with biocontainment (BSL-3, BSL-3Ag, and/or BSL-4) programs and facilities (HVAC design/controls related fields e.g. industrial hygiene, environmental health, occupational safety, etc), and supervisory experience.
