To supervise the HVAC department, Powerhouse operations and Plumbers in their maintenance and installation duties. Coordinate vendors for quote information regarding blankets, new installations, materials and equipment. Maintain budgets for these areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Process time and material amounts form individual projects for Interdepartmental charges (IDC).
Write scope of work requirements, submit to contractors and receive, review quotes for vendor related projects.
Develop and manage preventive maintenance plan.
Ordering or managing the ordering of tools and materials for supervised areas.
Develop deferred Maintenance list with budget numbers for areas supervised. Submit these proposed items to Director.
Schedule and coordinate work.
Assist in trouble shooting problems or issues.
Manage personnel issues. (time cards, tardy, time off request, disciplinary issues, etc..)
Dealing with emergency issues.
A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school
Two to five years of experience.
Good knowledge of HVAC systems.
High Mechanical aptitude.
Ability to manage personnel.
Understanding of Powerhouse operations.
Knowledge of plumbing systems.
Ability to use Microsoft, Word and Excel proficiently.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Individual should have a good working knowledge of mechanical systems, powerhouse operations, and plumbing systems. Experience supervising and motivating mechanical personnel to achieve their work potential.
Ability to work with others.
Problem solving skills.
Good at crisis management.
Job may require lifting light weight objects (1 to 10 pounds) with no repetitive bending or stooping. Occasionally lift average weight objects (1 to 10 pounds).
Occasional exposure to objectionable conditions or variations such as those found in variable weather conditions or light industrial settings.
Any Mechanical licenses a plus, not required.
Salary/Pay Information: Commensurate with experience

7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
