Perfoms Job Specifics; a. Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment, b. Perform & assist outside contractors when necessary c. Works with hand & power tools, d. Maintains accurate & legible records of all work performed according to regulatory agencies or standards set by supervisor. e. Performs maintenance & repair tasks as assigned f. Replaces lams & ballasts, maintains inventory, performs electrical checks on beds, g. Maintains plumbing system, h. Performs PMM in time period allowed
Performs specific on-call duties; a. Works "call" time and "back up" call time b. Removes snow
Provides guidance, assists, and solicits bids for all outside building & grounds maintenance
Attends meetings as required; a. Participates in educational programs & in-services as required b. Provides training to other plant staff & hospital staff in the area of expertise as required c. Provides information to Plant Supervisor & hospital staff as to any appropriate communication from councils or committees attended & does appropriate follow-up tasks
Complies with all SCHHS safety policies & procedures
Current Driver's License and ability to safely drive a company vehicle and comply with the Company's Fleet/Driver Safety Program
Three years of experience in a healthcare facility with a strong mechanical and electrical background.
Must maintain sufficient knowledge of equipment to adequately maintain and repair systems during emergencies
