Full Time; Career Starting Salary Range: $7,958.52-$8,796.26/annually. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Involves overseeing and / or managing activities relating to skilled crafts and trades, including one or more of the following: heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC), boiler operators, electrical, machinist, sheet metal, abatement and insulators, structural (carpentry, painting, roofing, glazer, blinds), plumbing or other skilled crafts and trades.
Under the direction of the Building, Utility & Fleet Services Electrical Senior Superintendent, supervise the operation, and maintenance of the fire alarm systems and all associated equipment related to these systems. Provide written and oral reports, prepares estimates, manages performance and writes performance appraisals & procedures, perform planning, coordinating, inspection and scheduling of work assignments for five Physical Plant Mechanic Specialists.
Physical Plant Services provides superior services in facilities and infrastructure operations, building maintenance, custodial services, grounds and roads services, and refuse and recycling services. Experience with the operation and maintenance of central fire alarm and monitoring systems and pertaining code requirements.
Knowledge of architectural and engineering designs or practices as they pertain to buildings, structures, equipment, utilities, electrical and electronic systems.
Strong computer skills and ability to use various software systems for reporting, scheduling work, researching material needs, control of lighting and fire alarm systems.
Proven ability to estimate, plan, prioritize, schedule and organize preventative maintenance programs, work order repairs and projects.
Ability to analyze, diagnose and resolve technical maintenance problems.
Selected candidate will be required to pass a criminal history background check
