HVAC Controls Technician, Facilities Planning and Management

Pay Grade 38. Minimum $ 15.20/hour.

This position will conduct, assist, and participate in theinspection and troubleshooting during the startup and operation of HVACsystems, particularly as it relates to digital control systems.Responsibilities include:

• Performing startup, operation, maintenance,troubleshooting, programming, calibration, testing and balancing andcommissioning of campus HVAC and associated control systems, including computerizeddigital control systems.
• Participating in design reviews and initialcheckout, including point to point testing, of newly installed digital controlsystems and attached HVAC systems for capital and other projects.
• Applying knowledge of HVAC and thermodynamicprincipals in determining and ensuring proper operation of campus HVAC systems.
  
• Performing other duties as assigned.
