As a Building Engineer for North Dallas Bank Tower Corp, delivering an outstanding service experience to North Dallas Bank & Trust Co. tenants is a key priority. The Buiding Engineer assists the Chief Engineer with activities of maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings and grounds by performing duties as outlined below.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Handle day-to-day general and preventive maintenance of building(s) owned by NDB
Ensure that major equipment required to keep the building running is operating efficiently
Perform structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of buildings.
Perform locksmith duties, such as changing locks, rekeying locks and producing keys.
Maintain relationships with tenants and respond to requests for service
Assist other departments as requested, including moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies.
Complies with company safety regulations.
Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.

40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Must be able to be on call on a rotating basis with other building engineers. Must have a one year certificate from a college or technical school; or 6 months related experience in building and grounds maintenance. Prefer candidates with previous experience working with HVAC, cooling towers, chillers, electrical, plumbing, basic carpentry work and locksmith skills. Must have current and valid Driver's License and be able to drive to and from other locations and properties managed by the Tower Corp. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion, and up to 25 lbs on a frequent basis. Must be able to use MS Office, including Outlook. Must be able to use computer and technical resources utilized by the Bank Tower Corp.
