Dairyland Power Cooperative, an electric utility headquartered in La Crosse, WI, is seeking an individual who will safely maintain Dairyland’s La Crosse buildings and Back-up Control Center (Genoa). Ensure smooth operation of all mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. Assist other departments with remodeling projects. Respond to fire alarms and all other emergency occurrences. Secondary responsibility to provide assistance with seasonal outdoor grounds care and winter snow removal as needed and required, and to perform routine limited custodial duties. Work with limited supervision.

Education and Experience: Prefer vo-tech diploma in mechanical or electrical related field plus two (2) years related building maintenance (plumbing/electrical/HVAC systems and equipment) experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Skills: Light building maintenance skills. Ability to read and understand complex operating instructions and maintenance manuals for various building systems and equipment. Ability to build, re-arrange and assist moving furniture weighing up to 300 pounds. Basic computer skills. Good verbal, listening and written communication skills required.
Licenses and Certifications: Valid Driver’s License. Ability to obtain Underground Storage Tank Operator’s Class ‘C’ license within six (6) months of start date.
