Seeking qualified candidate with demonstrated ability to lead Facilities Building Engineers, Project Managers and sub-contractors in support of complex buildings structural and utilities systems for a mixed manufacturing, clean room, R&D facility.
The 250Ksqft campus consists of four primary buildings located on twelve acres, occupied by five hundred employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing multiple functions of building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus or portfolio of buildings of significant complexity.
Critical Systems (data centers etc.) and Clean Rooms.
Management/supervision and technical systems such as chill water, process cooling water, condenser water, boilers, building controls, electrical systems, fire systems, and other building/manufacturing systems.
Developing and maintaining positive client relationships, conduct client meetings on unresolved facility issues in an expeditious and professional manner.
Communicate to clients regarding property profiles, emergency preparedness plans, site inspections facility audits, work order progress reports, and other related reports.
Research and implement new processes and technology to improve operational efficiency.
Develop and recommend strategic facility management objectives for client.
Review various budget reports for multiple facilities.
Knowledge of utility systems including: domestic water supply and distribution, sanitary sewer, high and low pressure compressed air, cooling water systems with cooling towers, natural gas distribution, water treatment, HVAC, nitrogen, hydrogen and oxygen systems.
Develop environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
These procedures include emergency action plans, disaster recovery, business continuity, and other related procedures.
Responsible for facility inspections for quality assurance on a periodic basis.
Ensures facility procedures comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Produce and maintain various facility management reports.
Oversee management of capital projects.
Using PC for work order system, email, CMMS and training.
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Word and Power Point.
I n-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles.
Ability to calculate complex figures.
Ability to forecast and prepare budgets.
Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.
Working knowledge of leases, contracts and related documents.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability t o effectively communicate across multiple levels.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across organization and facilitate cross-functional efforts.
Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to manage and resolve both technical and people issues and take corrective actions independently.

Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination.
Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval.
Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime.
Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff.
Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies.
Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.
Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Minimum of six years of related experience and/or training.
Bachelor's degree preferred with focus on business, technical or management areas.
