JOB DESCRIPTION/ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.
Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
Install appliances and equipment
Do exterior upkeep such as garden/yard upkeep, snow removal, etc. (?)
Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation)
Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations
Maintain all building keys
Perform regular walk-throughs and checks to ensure the quality of the building is being upheld
Conduct proper follow-through on all maintenance issues
Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating etc.)
Knowledge of various crafts such as carpentry, plumbing etc.
Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations
Excellent planning and leadership abilities
An eye for detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High school diploma; Degree from a vocational school will be a plus
Professional Certifications (e.g. CMRP or HVAC certified) are preferred
2+ years of relevant experience
Ability to work well under minimal supervision
Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary
