A state trade association with a heavy concentration of continuing education for licensing seeks a top-notch Education Coordinator. This is a part-time position for a highly organized and self-motivated individual. Working with a staff of six, this person will assist in the overall management of our educational programming.
Oversee and assist in the scheduling, facilitating, and coordinating of all city locations and facilities for holding continuing education classes according to budgeting restrictions—collaborate with financial administrator to maintain cost effective measures regarding facilities.
Act as a liaison to all instructors regarding their needs, requests, recommendations, etc.
Coordinate and collaborate with all instructors and implement a biannual schedule of continuing education classes, including the contracting of facilities, food arrangements and A/V needs.
Monitor instructor reimbursement requests and cost effectiveness with regard to maintaining class meals, travel arrangements, etc.—collaborate with financial administrator to maintain cost effective measures regarding class expenses.
Research, maintain and facilitate student records/data.
Assist with registrations as needed (by walk-in, phone, email, website, or fax)
Oversee that all instructors are informed, stocked and supplemented with teaching materials and supplies for all classes, including books and A/V updates.
Deal directly with customers, students, and instructors either by telephone, electronically, or face to face.
Respond promptly to customer, student, and instructor inquiries.
Handle and resolve customer, student, and instructor complaints.
This is a mid-level position that will concentrate heavily on credentialing and/or licensing reporting.
Experience with YourMembership AMS a plus.
Ability to prioritize duties and attention to detail is a must
