The Sr. Buyer will be responsible for carrying out service provider sourcing, tactical onboarding and information gathering for assigned geographic areas and trades. The Sr. Buyer will be leading price and contract negotiations as well as facilitating the vendor performance management responsibilities.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and maintain service provider base to ensure service provider depth
Controlling and managing purchasing activities with the external suppliers of the company
Ensure that the service provider preforms to the company expectations including: cost of services purchased and quality requirements in the established timeframe
Convert generated leads to vendor agreements
Review, interpret, and advise assigned service providers on scorecard performance
Ability to work independently towards a defined goal
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
4+ years' experience
Basic understanding or HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and General Maintenance trades
