Dunwoody College of Technology is seeking a highly experienced and driven Building Engineer to join our Facilities Department. This position reports to the Director of Facilities and works with a small team of maintenance professionals to ensure the proper operation, maintenance, and safety of the College’s Physical Plant.
As part of our Facilities team, there is an emphasis on the safe and efficient operation of all our mechanical services on campus. The Building Engineer is tasked with performing both preventative and corrective maintenance along with troubleshooting interrelated systems and associated mechanical/electrical issues.
What you will get to do:
Take control of adjusting, maintaining, and repairing equipment related to boilers, heating/ventilation, and air conditioning systems
Implement and carry out energy conservation measures throughout the College
Identify areas for increased efficiency of the department through diligent project management and continuous improvement planning.

Technical Degree in HVAC specializing in electrical controls & automation
Possess a valid 2C or higher Minnesota Boiler Operator’s License
