Starting Salary Range: $71,797 - $97,683
The Manager, Terminal and Landside Facilities oversees a 40-person facilities maintenance team providing 24/7 coverage for the operations and maintenance of MNAA facilities. This responsibility extends to all MNAA facilities to include directing and coordinating all phases of civil airport facilities, roads, parking lots, utilities, terminal, buildings, non-airside infrastructure, and equipment maintenance, as well as snow and ice removal through subordinate supervisory staff and contractors. Executes established policies and procedures while exercising independent judgment.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops a maintenance organization consisting of skilled technicians and support staff to carry out the responsibilities and duties of the maintenance function.
Plans and schedules routine, preventive maintenance functions for all airport facilities, including buildings and associated equipment and systems (i.e., HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, building structure, fire alarm, public address, energy management control, etc.), landside pavement, roads, utilities, etc.
Oversees interviewing, hiring, and training maintenance employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Develops, administers, and monitors an annual Operating and Maintenance Budget. Provides input to the Capital Improvement Program.
Monitors utilities consumption and ensures efficient energy utilization through the Building Automation System (BAS).
Ensures that outsourced maintenance work is performed in accordance with contract requirements.
Responds to emergency and contingency situations 24/7.
Oversees the development, enhancement and efficient utilization of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including the work order system, material control and inventory functions.
Supports MNAA’s commitment to its culture and values, including Respect, Integrity, Service and Excellence (RISE).
Performs other duties as assigned.
A Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities or industrial management, or a related field.
Five years' experience in the operation and maintenance of a medium to large facility, or multiple facilities, and a minimum of three years in a supervisory capacity.
A Master’s degree in business, management or a related field.
Seven years' experience in facilities maintenance management and supervisor experience with a group of over 40 personnel is desirable.
American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) certification or facilities management certification.
