This position will oversee the organization and integration of information related to assets added into the Integrated Work Management System (IWMS - Planon). New construction and major renovations add and remove systems and equipment requiring the continuous update of data associated with these assets. Maintaining an accurate account of this data such as but not limited to - equipment ID consistency, operations and maintenance manuals, location in a building, areas of a building served, test reports and funding responsibility - is of the utmost importance to ensure equipment health and integrity can be maintained.
Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills
Knowledge normally acquired by completing a four-year college degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Facilities Management, HVAC or a related field; three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in facilities management, building systems and/or construction specific to the work being performed; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of FAMIS or equivalent computerized maintenance management systems / Blue Cielo Meridian or equivalent document management system and Unifier or equivalent project management information system; ability to utilize computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software; strong customer relations and organizational skills; ability to read, interpret, and apply related industry recommendations and standards. Facilities management certification/accreditation and/or knowledge of the commercial building operations and maintenance a plus.
