The George Mason University, Facilities Department, is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person for a Plumber position.
This person performs skilled plumbing and pipefitter work required to install, maintain, modify, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair, new and existing water, sewer, irrigation, and natural gas systems; performs related duties as required or assigned.
-Valid Driver's License
-Virginia State cross-connection certificate or ability to obtain within 12 months of employment
-Significant demonstrated progressively more responsible plumbing/pipefitting experience (4 years preferred)
-Plumbing Journey license -Completion of an acceptable apprentice-level plumbing training program and -Commonwealth of Virginia backflow certification training -Five years of experience with commercial plumbing
Salary: Max $58,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Fairfax, VA
