Responsible for supervising and directing subordinate stationary engineers and the operations and maintenance of a boiler plant facility and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
High School diploma.
One to two years of college credit (30 credit hours in equivalent to one year) or equivalent formal training in related field.
Combination of education and related experience for a total of four to five years of experience in the operation and maintenance of boilers, furnaces, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) systems and components.
Three (3) years of supervisory experience preferred.
Must be able to work Monday – Friday 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Work schedule is subject to change based on department needs.
Must be available for day, evening and weekend emergencies.
Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours/week. Overtime may be required.
Must be able to climb, as well as move and lift heavy equipment up to 50 lbs.
Applicant must possess a valid driver's license without any restrictions that would prohibit applicant from college insurance coverage. A copy of your driving record may be required at the time of the interview.
Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written standard English.

A limited background investigation will be conducted prior to offer of employment. A signed authorization for release of personal information will be required if selected for an interview.
