Plan, organize and supervise facility maintenance and services dealing with building electrical and plumbing components and systems.
Associates degree relevant to maintenance, electrical or building systems or a related area or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Current Michigan Journeyman’s electrical license. Three years experience in facility maintenance. Computer literacy including email usage, MS Excel and Word and computerized maintenance management systems. Experience with plumbing piping and systems. Minimum five years of experience in the supervision of bargaining unit employees. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with others.
Current Michigan Master Electrician License. Working knowledge of controls/PLC's Square D highly preferred. Knowledge of medium voltage switchgear and radial distribution systems.
