This position is responsible for the operation and repair of building equipment components, subsystems and complete systems (Pneumatic and Electric) for heating, ventilation and air conditioning, including maintaining and providing general repair services for the physical plant, campus equipment and operation of Building Automation Systems at Anoka Technical College.
Must have a current State of Minnesota First Class C Boiler License
A minimum of 3 years experience working with centrifugal chiller air-conditioning systems
A minimum of 3 years experience working with Building Automation systems
Previous experience at a facility over 100,000 square feet
Knowledge and skills in the methods, materials, tools and equipment used in trades work sufficient to assist skilled trade's staff in the completion of assigned projects
Ability to perform semi-skilled trades work sufficient to complete minor trades plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and/or electrical systems and equipment
Ability to perform minor repairs and adjustments to machinery and equipment including the general maintenance and minor repairs of the buildings
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions sufficient to interpret and carry out assignments in a safe and efficient manner
Skills in using hand and power tools and other trades equipment
Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety measures related to trades work sufficient to safely and efficiently perform the job duties
Advance computer skills, sufficient to download programs and update applications
Minnesota Chief Engineers License
Power user of Building Automation Systems preferably UHL Company platforms
Universal refrigerant license
