DAIRYLAND POWER COOPERATIVE has an immediate opening for a Supervisor, Facilities. This individual will be responsible for oversight of the Building Services team, the maintenance of Dairyland’s facilities and properties in La Crosse plus the back-up control center in Genoa and managing specific building projects, such as furniture procurement, office remodeling, etc. This position ensures Dairyland’s buildings and properties are kept in excellent physical condition, along with maintaining a safe and clean working environment for Dairyland employees, the Board of Directors and visitors to Dairyland’s facilities.
Minimum Qualifications: Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a field related to facility maintenance with 5 years progressively responsible experience in facility services and maintenance or building trades contracting work. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Previous supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
Skills: Advanced core competency in heating and air-conditioning systems and/or electrical and/or mechanical and/or plumbing. Basic knowledge of telephone and computer systems required. Ability to effectively use MS Office products, Building Automation Systems and other business software packages. Good verbal and written communication skills. Above average customer service skills, including listening and providing information (written and verbal). Must be organized (documentation and other record keeping).
Licenses and Certifications: Valid Driver’s License.
