JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
This is a high level, Executive Management position tasked with Operational Strategic Planning, Process Management, Budget Management, Operational Profitability, and Team Leadership Development. The Vice President of Operations will be responsible for the daily Operational activities and performance of the firm. This position is the implementer who will work directly with the President / CEO to maximize the Operational structure and process efficiency of the firm along with the profitability of same. This individual will manage the subordinate, Operational Directors of the firm and assist them with Staff Management & Development, Budget Management, Client Satisfaction, and delivery of exceptional, cohesive deliverables to the customer. This position requires a self-motivated, goal oriented, professional who is a leader & team player.
This position reports directly to the President / CEO.
LOCATION: Candidates must reside in KS or willing to relocate with assistance provided
An ideal applicant must have a history of success in dynamic, high growth, technology forward service organizations. They must have a strong background and knowledge of best practices in Multi-Site Project Management, Facilities Maintenance, HVAC Maintenance, Construction Science, Project Management, and a hands-on knowledge of Strategic Planning, Budget Management, and Profitability Management. A minimum of ten (10) years of supervisory and managerial experience in business management with oversight of multiple divisions and/or departments is required, along with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management or related field. A Master of Business Administration degree is preferred.

Evaluate the operational performance & efficiency of the firm with a focus on productivity, profitability, process improvement, client satisfaction, and team leadership development to ensure success and sustained growth.
Devise strategies and policies designed to ensure that company goals are realized.
Prepare annual operational budgets in collaboration with subordinate Directors.
Recommend an annual capital budget for long range operational improvement.
Manage and appoint Division Directors & Department Managers.
DUTIES AND TASKS
DUTY: Work effectively & decisively in a fast-paced environment. Work well under pressure, particularly when faced with unexpected occurrences or delays. Coordinate several major initiatives at once while analyzing and resolving specific problems. Establish & maintain good working relationships with various supervisory levels within Royal and externally as directed. Stay current on the technical fields and trade-trends related to the various technologies in which Royal has products or services.

Provide timely operational & financial reports as directed.
Communicate & respond effectively with clients, co-workers, and management.
Ensure that deliverables & objectives are provided to clients as contracted.
Coordinate and monitor progress of projects. Make necessary adjustments.
