Responsible for mechanical maintenance, which includes preventive, predictive, corrective; problem-solving, equipment installs; various technical tasks. Use work order system, attention to detail, safety-minded, coordinate and work closely with other departments.
Completed HS or equiv w/certification of completion from approved secondary education institution with an industrial maintenance major or emphasis. Work experience may be substituted for formal education. Minimum 3 year's experience in industrial mechanical maintenance field. Knowledge of pumps, chemical-feed equipment, valves, blowers, compressors, boilers; experience or proficiency with hand & power tools; hydraulic & pneumatic equipment, plumbing, pipe fitting, welding - acetylene gas, arc; read & interpret blue prints, schematics, and repair manuals. Hold & maintain valid driver's license, or CDL. CDL is not preferred but could be required at such time it is needed to perform essential functions. Employer will bear all costs associated with obtaining and/or maintaining CDL-Class B.

The Little Blue Valley Sewer District is a quasi-public agency, created in 1968, to protect public health, and to preserve the water quality of the Little Blue and Missouri Rivers, through effective conveyance and treatment of wastewater.
