You have at least ten years’ experience in residential maintenance and have supervised large crews of fifteen or more. You have strong working knowledge in all facets of general building repair and maintenance, including HVAC certification. You’re highly organized, good with computers, and know how to lead a team. On an average day in this challenging role you’ll take care of resident needs, oversee a large crew of service technicians, track works orders and turnovers, walk vacant apartments, place inventory orders, meet with vendors or contractors to gather bids, work with grounds and carpentry supervisors to get an update on projects, and perform multiple work orders for residents. The Senior Service Supervisor handles all aspects of the maintenance program for the community while providing strong leadership to a large team.
