The University of Pittsburgh is seeking an Energy Operations Center Coordinator for its Facilities Management department.
The FM EOC Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the continuous monitoring, evaluation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the campus-wide Building Management System (BMS). The primary responsibilities of the FM EOC Coordinator will be to:
Monitor the campus-wide Building Management System (BMS)
Receive customer calls (work requests) relating to normal building maintenance and emergency situations
Acknowledge, review, process, dispatch appropriate personnel, assist in resolution, track progress, and log status of said BMS generated alarms and called in work requests.
The above responsibilities require the FM EOC Coordinator to utilize expertise to operate efficiently, independently, and decisively to ensure that maintenance and emergency situations are resolved timely and appropriately.
Work orders, requests, and status updates will be administered and tracked through the University's Computerized Maintenance Management Software system. Emergency and high priority responses may require calling out additional off-duty trades and staff as deemed necessary.
Associate Degree in a Mechanical / Technical or equivalent related experience. 5-10 years experience with HVAC, mechanical system Building Automation controls, and/or technical communication systems/networks.
