The Campus Facilities Management Health Sciences team provides maintenance and repair work on all facilities in support of UMKC's School of Medicine, School of Nursing, School of Pharmacy and School of Dentistry.
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Experience or familiarity with various construction, maintenance and repair trades including electrical, plumbing, HVAC and various types of institutional machinery.

Receives instruction, guidance, and/or direction from more senior level roles. This position is a direct report to the Director of Campus Facilities Management (CFM) - Operations.
May mentor (or supervise as needed) others in completing operational duties. This position supervises a team of 4-6 skilled trade technicians.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Possesses conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within the CSM Operations function and applies this knowledge to complete routine to complex assignments
Applies general and/or operations knowledge developed through education and experiences
Highly skilled in at least one facilities related trade.
