JOB SUMMARY Reporting to the Senior Program Manager. The purpose of this position is to manage and support the implementation of energy and sustainability initiatives for the TD Bank Account, as well as manage the day-to-day energy management needs of a large distributed retail and corporate network of 1,400 properties across the Eastern United States.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for identifying energy efficiency initiatives/projects, managing vendor engagement and developing business cases for presentation to the client.
Responsible for engagement with utility partners and/or vendors to secure rebates for all energy efficiency projects (if applicable).
Engages with Facility Management and Project Management teams to refine energy efficiency project scope and coordination of project execution.
Responsible for managing large data sets used for identifying and implementing no or low-capital cost saving strategies to reduce operating expenses.
Assists with developing upcoming fiscal year and budgeting for utilities budgets for all managed locations within the TD Bank account. an account. Coordinates energy procurement activities and implementation of recommended strategies. Develops and presents monthly energy and sustainability status and variance reports. Monitors and reports on energy use, water use, waste diversion rates and spending trends. Communicate past, present and future energy plans and performance through formal presentations to account team.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year College or university. Minimum of five years of related experience and/or training. Minimum of four years of managerial experience preferred.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES CEM and LEED accreditation preferred. Training and accreditation part of development and performance management requirements.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to conduct financial analysis (NPV, ROI, SPB).
REASONING ABILITY Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES Carbon footprint reporting experience or training preferred. Training and accreditation part of development and performance management requirements.
EXCEL SKILLS Ability to manipulate, analyze, and organize large data sets in Excel. Requires intermediate excel knowledge. Ability to create pivot tables and more advanced formulas.
BUILDING COMMISSIONING AND CONTROLS EXPERIENCE Expertise in building commissioning and HVAC controls are considered an asset.
