Job Description: Position will include the below work responsibilities. Work will be scheduled by facility manager.
Sanitation, disinfection, pressure washing to meet the standards of microbial monitoring program.
Environmental monitoring: temperature, humidity, structural integrity, microbial growth, oxidization control etc.
Repairs and maintenance: water lines, paint touch ups, caulking etc.
Stocking, restocking, order list
Water purification maintenance: water quality
Maintain storage shed: organize tools and hardware
Septic plant maintenance
Pest and vermin control
Perimeter fence maintenance
Accept deliveries and distribute items received to appropriate team members and locations
Accompany contractors and vendors on site when directed
Ensure that contractors and vendors on site clean up after themselves
Assist team members in daily operations as directed
Must be able to work weekends on a rotating schedule.
Welding, painting, metal work, handy/construction skills and experience will be a plus. Previous facilities work experience, computer skills (e-mails, web browser, word, excel) will give you a good leverage in hourly rate. Minimum high school education.
Appropriate training will be provided. Must have ability to lift 50 lbs. Must be able bodied with good eyesight and good respiratory health to carry out daily operations. Further occupational health and safety screening will be discussed at interview stage.
For a typical 8AM - 5PM shift, 30 minutes lunch NOT paid for, but two 15 minutes breaks are paid for by company.
Overtime is available if performance is good. PTO and Health Benefit available. Opportunity for career growth, e.g. Facility Professional, Supervisor or Manager or other areas of operations. Must be punctual and work on an honor system being an hourly employee.
Must meet background check criteria. Must have good references. Minimum 40 hours/week. Work start time is 8 AM, 5 days per week. Employee must be ready in uniform at 8 AM and report to manager's office for daily briefing. If no briefing, then employee must start work as scheduled.
