PSU's Facilities and Property Management department (FPM) is seeking a Lead Plumber dedicated to bettering the plumbing infrastructure at PSU. This position performs a variety of journey-level projects that include the installation, maintenance, and repair of a variety of residential and commercial plumbing systems across the campus. The 6 person plumbing team collaborates on both preventative and reactive projects, responding to requests from campus colleagues and providing excellent customer service. The Lead Plumber is an important team member who looks to support and lead the plumbing staff in delivering the highest quality of work and service to the university and its community. The Lead Plumber is someone who is capable of bringing a premium blend of positive energy, inspiring work ethic, and comprehensive trade knowledge to the team.
FPM comprises approximately 80 full time and 60 student employees who work together to maintain over 5 million square feet in downtown Portland, and the plumbing team is a key element in the department. FPM is pleased to serve all members of the PSU community, and takes a tremendous amount of pride in providing a superior and vibrant learning environment.
