Ever-Green Energy is looking for a team member to perform computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) services for district heating and cooling systems that are operated, managed, and supported by Ever-Green Energy. Work will include the preparation of drawings for new construction and maintenance projects, the preparation of drawings for as-built purposes, and the maintenance and organization of record drawings and system maps in physical and electronic formats.

Overall scope of this position is to provide computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) services; prepare CAD drawings using 3D design software, including project layout, plan and detail drawings for new construction projects and plant or building maintenance projects; assist with the Ever-Green Energy operated systems customer service initiatives; assist with the Ever-Green Energy operated systems plant operations; and provide CAD assistance as required to support drawing requirements for steam, hot water, and chilled water distribution systems.

Minimum requirements to be successful in this role:
Associates degree in Applied Science or abbreviated A.A.S.
One year of experience in mechanical design.
Strong ability with Autodesk AutoCAD and/or Revit applications to provide analysis of systems and produce engineering plan drawings required.
Process plant or building HVAC design background from conceptual design to layout and design of process and utility piping systems.
Position requires 15% (local, national, both local and national) travel.
Preferred qualifications include:
Three to five (5) years’ experience in mechanical design.
Past experience and/or academic focus in thermal/industrial systems, utilities, and campus systems.
Experience with Solidworks, Autodesk CFD and Civil3D, Google Sketchup and/or Pro-E software packages.
Working knowledge of process and utility piping specifications and codes.
Working knowledge of structural steel design practices related to equipment supports, pipe, and building structural framing.
