Responsible for developing, managing and growing customer accounts and overall business within assigned business unit.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities * In conjunction with the Director of Finance and the Managing Director, develop an annual sales plan and oversee the execution of it. * Develop and manage company sales forecasts on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis; communicate forecasts to the leadership team and the organization. * Supervise, coach and mentor a team of customer Account Executives to manage existing customer accounts with responsibility for account growth and profit margin. * Supervise, coach and mentor a team of Business Development Executives to develop new accounts and expand the company's customer base. * Oversee the execution of the company's sales process including but not limited to updating Microsoft CRM, assisting the sales executives with pipeline management and sales process progression. * In concert with the Managing Director, develop marketing plan and demand creation strategies. * Assist the Account and Business Development Executives, when necessary to manage customer expectations, negotiate and resolve any discrepancies and conflicts. * Maintain company standard profit margins in all sales. * Ensure the consistency and quality of written proposals.
Education * Required - Four year degree in Management or other Business related area or a minimum 10 years work experience in Sales and Business Development.
Work Experience Required - Ten years in Sales and Business Development with a proven track record in technical sales for a minimum of five years, plus five years as an Executive level manager
Knowledge * Must possess a thorough knowledge of the use and operation of Windows-based computers. * Be familiar with basic contract verbiage, negotiation and management. * Be familiar with basic financial terms and concepts as they relate to contracts, proposals, and providing consultation to the customer. * Be familiar with Building Automation Systems and Solutions
Skills * Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills * Must exhibit a professional attitude * Proven customer service background * Must maintain a clean and neat appearance
Functions * Must be willing to travel, including some overnight trips.

* Work will be performed primarily in climate-controlled conditions, through some hazards may be encountered during job site visits, such as climbing of ladders, rough terrain, dirt, dust, and fumes. There may be exposure to stress-inducing and/or confrontational situations in addition to variable public noise levels. * There may be travel with its associated difficulties. * Workdays generally follow office hours plus time associated for significant completion of responsibilities delegated to this position to satisfy deadlines and customer requirements, including second and third shift work and weekends, depending on project requirements. There also may be additional responsibilities on an unscheduled basis resulting in additional work hours with considerations made for the normal workday.
