Cohen-Esrey Communities (CEC) is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to support and maintain Customer Fulfillment initiatives as they relate to the physical upkeep and maintenance needs at the Justin Place property, located in Kansas City, MO.
Keeping safety as a high priority, implementing safety principles taught in continuing education and complying with safety regulations to create a safe work environment
Maintaining a clean and orderly work area and ensuring the proper care of tools and other equipment
Keeping constantly aware of the condition of the property and immediately initiating action to correct unsafe conditions and to maintain all elements of the property
Maintaining the exterior of the property daily to provide clean and superior curb appeal at all times
Responding to all service requests and on-call emergencies as directed by the Property Manager and completing all requests in a timely and professional manner
Assisting in inspecting and coordinating all make ready repairs and services
Assisting in monitoring and controlling maintenance inventory and supplies and implementing cost saving measures
Participating as an integral part of the maintenance team in timely snow removal and ice-melt application efforts
Customer Care Specialist
Taking actions to ensure residents’ safety on the property
Listening to residents’ requests and concerns in a calm and open manner
Being respectful of residents’ privacy
Providing prompt, courteous and clear communication with residents, team members, owners and vendors
Attending and assisting in resident activities and functions whenever possible
Basic qualifications include:
High school diploma or GED
3+ years of Maintenance Experience.
Ability to bend, stoop, lift, carry, push or pull over 25lbs repeatedly.
Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies.
Preferred qualifications include:
Proven 2+ years of HVAC experience
