Requirements The Facilities Engineer reports directly to the Chief Engineer, may report to another manager or staff member as assigned by the immediate supervisor or Director of Facilities Management. Primary purpose of the Facilities Engineer to provide building support services that ensure a safe, clean and comfortable environment for the University community. The Facilities Engineer is expected to behave in a professional manner, comply with policies and practices, be flexible with respect to scheduling and work as part of a team. The position is designated, Emergency Employee by the University's definition, which requires that incumbent report to work during inclement weather at the regularly scheduled time regardless of whether the University is closed, opening late or closing early. Must be able to be flexible to accommodate emergency situations including but not limited to snow removal. Qualifications
