An engineer with wireless RF engineering and/or performance experience, a passion for project management with the ultimate goal of improving the wireless experience for Verizon customers. Analyzing and mining data for future enhancements, visualizing data, providing actionable insights & strategic recommendations. Manage a large scale of data.
Driving engagement across cross-functional teams, supporting work streams to create and execute on project deliverables (This includes resource management & owning communication on project updates).
Completing the scope of the project and providing frequent leadership updates on status.
Working with the design team to understand the project needs and any issues within the scope of the project.
Researching previous projects and in-flight projects as needed.
Creating short-term and long-term design plans to meet sites design criteria.
Collaborating with all RF Mods & Macro contractors as needed.
Documenting regulatory filings, EME compliance and 911 submissions.
Collaborating with the EME, Engineering (RE & Implementation) & Network Assurance teams.
Partnering with Engineering teams to ensure that equipment and design of the site matches the plumbing diagrams & equipment provided.
Providing and documenting technical guidance and developing automation tools as needed.
Creating, editing, visualizing, analyzing and publishing geospatial information.
Partnering with system performance for new site integration, and system optimization to maximize return of Investment with a sense of urgency.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four of more years of work experience.
Three or more years of relevant work experience.
RF engineering experience.
Experience in the cellular or telecommunications industry.
A valid Driver’s license.
Even better if you have:
Knowledge in several of the following platforms and/or technologies: LTE, CDMA, EVDO, UMTS, GSM.
Knowledge of Excel, Tableau, SQL, and PowerPoint & Mapping tools (MapInfo, ARC GIS, and Atoll).
Experience in Office applications: Word, Visio, and OneNote.
