General Building Maintenance Trades Specialist II - Facilities & Services 16085 Description The Facilities Management unit of Facilities and Services at West Virginia University is seeking applicants for a General Building Maintenance Trades Specialist II position. Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the duties of this position require the individual to perform a variety of tasks related to maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment. These duties include providing 24 hour, seven days a week, continuous coverage; provides emergency coordination with Facilities Management shops and/or emergency personnel such as fire department, police, Environmental Health & Safety; and to make repairs as needed on a daily basis. Our units employ talented and skilled workers whose jobs range from maintaining, protecting and improving the University's buildings and grounds. Facilities and Services takes care of every aspect of WVU so that its employees, students and guests are safe and satisfied on campus. Work Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (10 days on and 4 days off with every other weekend) Pay Grade: 14, WVU provides competitive wages for its employees, and takes experience and related education into consideration when determining appropriate salary.
