The Senior Maintenance Specialist I position is housed at the Clyde York 4-H Center, a facility operated by UT Extension. The position is responsible to the Center Manager. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week positions. Duties include but are not limited to:
Facility maintenance and upkeep including electrical, plumbing, HVAC system repairs, welding metal fabrication and landscaping.
Supervise temporary summer staff in carrying out activities in accordance with instructions of center manager.
Facility cleaning (mopping, stripping, and waxing floors, cleaning cabins, bathrooms, classrooms, setting up facilities for user groups).
Assist with foodservice (i.e., grilling, washing dishes, etc.).
Assist in providing leadership for a program of activities which meets the needs of all eligible clientele regardless of race, color, national origin, age, sex, disability, religion or veteran status.
