Apartment Maintenance Technician

Overview:

AMLI Residential has an opening for a Maintenance Technician at AMLI 300, our luxury apartment community located in Austin.

As the Maintenance Technician for AMLI 300, you will ensure all vacated apartments are thoroughly restored to "make ready" status in a timely and accurate manner. In addition,the maintenance technician is responsible for handling issues in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning repairs, carpentry, appliance repairs, glass replacement, etc.

Other Duties include:

• Respond on a timely basis to resident service requests, and notify management upon completion of service requests or of pending work due to back ordered supplies. This includes helping residents and prospects before, during and after leasing an apartment.
• Be available to work on a rotating, on-call basis, including weekends and nights.
• Keep pools, fountains, hot tubs, and other amenity areas in clean and operable condition. Maintain and monitor all safety related equipment and needed records.
• Conduct inspections as required, per policy and participate in preventative maintenance to include pool, exterior lighting, filter changes and apartment inspections.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year related experience and/or training.
• On Call and weekend availability is required.
• HVAC experience. If not HVAC certified, must obtain certification within 60 days of hire.
