JOB SUMMARY CBRE provides facilities engineering, maintenance and other facilities services that support the Branchburg campus. The Facility Engineer provides facilities engineering, project management, and customer equipment support for Pharmaceutical R&D and manufacturing support facilities. This includes, but is not limited to managing projects, compliance, shared systems (including facilities), and customer equipment assets. Portions of these facilities fall under cGMP requirements, and this position will support critical facilities and systems specifically associated with cGMP operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Customers are dependent upon CBRE to maintain and improve the utilities, facilities, and equipment in order to effectively meet their requirements. These requirements include regulatory compliance, good safety practices, effective utility of assets, and effective use of funds.
Project Support and Program Lead
Primary CBRE representative with Lilly PJM
Participate in project meetings, represent IFM, assist in scheduling IFM resources, speak to electrical and mechanical concerns as it relates to project related changes
Notify customers if project requires a utility outage (system affected, who to contact if an issue arises, duration, etc)
Emergency Response / Fire Systems
Lead on emergency response issues where there is an electrical/mechanical problem.
Reliability / PM Tasking
Review problem assets, conduct failure analysis, predictive maintenance lead
Approve Job Plans
Review relevant SOP's to ensure compliance
Lead designer of LOTO procedures
Review/approve LOTO procedures, responsible for CBRE LOTO events.
Participate in daily FUME meetings
Align scheduled outages with work needs, request outages when needed
Support change management activities via Quality Management system
Review/approve Quality Management system submissions
Lead adherence to Lilly engineering requirements
Partner with CBRE Quality to lead or support investigations and CAPA's
Lead investigations and develop countermeasures and improvements to prevent recurrence"
CBRE Lead on providing input and supporting data
Continuous Improvement Lead
Big data analysis, streamlining/Lean approaches, cost savings, energy projects

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and a minimum of four years experience and/or training. Degree in Engineering is preferred, and work in project management is helpful. Knowledge and understanding of all applicable practices and techniques, laws, project controls and environmental regulations to include safety regulations.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Universal CFC certification. Certification / license in two or more of the following is desired, and certain certifications may be required by local / state jurisdiction: electrical, mechanical, HVAC and refrigeration systems, boiler, plumbing. Facilities Management certification is desired. Lean Six Sigma certification is preferred.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet/internet. Ability to use work order system.
Working knowledge and understanding of architectural, electrical and mechanical systems. Understanding of leases, contracts and related documents.
